Dr. Morden, ND, graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a double major in Biochemistry and Biology. Her love of medicine was nurtured early in her academic career by having the opportunity to work concurrently for several summers at the NRC Institute for Biodiagnostics in functional magnetic resonance imaging. She then studied at the College of Naturopathic Medicine, obtaining her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) designation. This degree helped to create a balanced synergy between the practices of modern medicine and traditional natural medicine, both of which hold importance in her more extensive view of healing.

Dr. Morden, ND, is a member of The Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and Manitoba Naturopathic Association (MNA). She maintains an active practice here at Via Natural Medicine. She is busy in the community providing frequent health talks and educational workshops for the public and professionals. She lives in Winnipeg with her husband, and when she is not at the clinic, you can find her busy at the cottage or working on her home and yard.

Dr. Dara Morden, ND, is passionate about supporting patients to dig deeper and ask more profound questions – at whatever stage they may be – to help them best achieve their capacity for optimal health.

Roxanne is a Certified Medical Support Clinical Hypnotherapist (CMS-CHt), having completed over 400 hours of comprehensive training at the Hypnotherapy Academy of America. This extensive program includes specialized instruction in anatomy, physiology, and hypnotherapy techniques for accelerated healing, pain control, surgical preparation, post-procedural recovery, and childbirth. She is a Fellow of the International Board of Hypnotherapy (IBH), which upholds rigorous standards for certification and continuing education.

What is Hypnotherapy? Hypnotherapy utilizes the natural state of hypnosis to access the subconscious mind, facilitating positive change and promoting healing. Hypnosis is a trance-like state that individuals experience naturally—such as becoming absorbed in a book or driving a familiar route without conscious recollection. In this receptive state, the mind is more open to helpful suggestions and therapeutic interventions.

Hypnotherapy has been used in many areas, including: • Pain management • Weight loss • Childbirth • Coping with trauma and grief • Enhancing personal growth • Overcoming phobias • Accelerating healing • Smoking cessation

With an open mind and dedication, the possibilities for transformation through hypnotherapy are extensive.

I am here to offer knowledge and experience in Natural Medicine to help you find your pathway to healing and vitality. Healing is something sacred and always available to us. There are many pathways for healing. What I have to offer is guidance through these various paths.

My training is in Homeopathic Medicine, Botanical Medicine, Clinical Nutrition, Allergy Testing, and Nutraceutical Support. My educational background is in Chemistry, where I graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a Bachelor of Science and a double major in Biochemistry and Chemistry. I worked for three years at the University of Winnipeg doing research in the Biochemistry department, where I helped to test the single-enzyme activity of high-dilution solutions through capillary electrophoresis. My fascination with quantum chemistry led me to investigate the philosophy of Homeopathy: the study of biological reactions at sub-molecular activity levels through natural medicine.

Inspired by the philosophy of Homeopathy, I continued my studies in medicine at the Manitoba College of Homeopathic Medicine, where I completed a 4-year natural medical program and graduated with the title Doctor of Homeopathic Medical Sciences in 2006.

My education and training at the MCHM were inspiring and eye-opening. I felt for the first time that my understanding of quantum chemistry finally connected with the type of medicine we were taught to employ. I learned that chronic disease can only be present within a system that needs greater balance and support over time. I learned the invaluable gift of understanding a person’s health as a holistic experience, inseparable from their life experiences, genetic susceptibilities, and unique constitution. I learned what healing entails: that it’s a learned experience. Healing involves addressing the root cause of imbalance and teaching the body through supportive therapies to restore patterns of function that are appropriate and optimal for health and wellness.

I am trained to support and restore health in all cases of pathology. I have come to specialize in pediatrics, digestive health, hormone balance, healthy immune function, and nervous system health. I have been trained to use many natural modalities to facilitate healing: Homeopathy, Herbal Medicine, Lifestyle Counselling, Nutritional Therapy, Food Sensitivity Testing, and Vitamin/Mineral Therapies.

I am passionate about the healing process and committed to serving my clients to the very best of my abilities in every case.

I am honoured to be a part of your journey to wellness.

Let’s get started!

André MacNair is an Osteopathic Manual Therapist who provides care across the lifespan, from childhood through adulthood and into older age. His approach is grounded in the core osteopathic principles of body unity, self-regulation, and the relationship between structure and function. Treatment is always tailored to the individual, with attention to how the whole body contributes to health, pain, and recovery.

André works with a wide range of concerns, including chronic and acute pain, sports-related injuries, motor vehicle accidents, TMJ dysfunction, and functional issues involving the digestive and urogenital systems. His treatments focus on identifying and addressing neuromuscular and structural imbalances using appropriate hands-on osteopathic techniques.

Initial appointments typically include a thorough case history, visual observation, range-of-motion assessment, and orthopedic and osteopathic testing to determine the most appropriate treatment approach. When applicable, André may also recommend simple exercises or self-care strategies to support rehabilitation and long-term improvement.

Central to André’s practice is the osteopathic understanding that the body functions as an integrated whole. By assessing how different systems interact, he identifies underlying contributors to pain or dysfunction. He supports the body’s natural capacity for balance and healing, either through treatment or by guiding patients toward additional care when necessary.
