Via Natural Medicine brings together expert Naturopathic Doctors, an Osteopathic practitioner, and a network of referring healthcare professionals united by a single priority: the client’s needs, first.
Dr. Cardona holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Winnipeg with a double major in Biochemistry and Chemistry, and completed three years of research in the Biochemistry department testing the single-enzyme activity of high-dilution solutions through capillary electrophoresis. Her clinical practice focuses on pediatrics, digestive health, hormone balance, healthy immune function, and nervous system health, drawing on a broad range of modalities including Homeopathy, Herbal Medicine, Nutritional Therapy, Food Sensitivity Testing, Lifestyle Counselling, and Vitamin/Mineral Therapies.
Beyond her practice, Dr. Cardona is a dedicated advocate for Homeopathic Medicine in Manitoba. André MacNair R.M.T., Dip.O.M.P., Dip. Sc. O.
André MacNair is an Osteopathic Manual Therapist who provides care across the lifespan, from childhood through adulthood and into older age. His approach is grounded in the core osteopathic principles of body unity, self-regulation, and the relationship between structure and function. Treatment is always tailored to the individual, with attention to how the whole body contributes to health, pain, and recovery.
André works with a wide range of concerns, including chronic and acute pain, sports-related injuries, motor vehicle accidents, TMJ dysfunction, and functional issues involving the digestive and urogenital systems. His treatments focus on identifying and addressing neuromuscular and structural imbalances using appropriate hands-on osteopathic techniques.
Initial appointments typically include a thorough case history, visual observation, range-of-motion assessment, and orthopedic and osteopathic testing to determine the most appropriate treatment approach. When applicable, André may also recommend simple exercises or self-care strategies to support rehabilitation and long-term improvement.
Central to André’s practice is the osteopathic understanding that the body functions as an integrated whole. By assessing how different systems interact, he identifies underlying contributors to pain or dysfunction. He supports the body’s natural capacity for balance and healing, either through treatment or by guiding patients toward additional care when necessary.

Integrative oncology is a unique approach involving the use of natural medicine to augment your conventional oncology team recommendations. Care is taken to avoid negative interactions between the two types of medicine. Integrative oncology is an approach combining the best of both worlds of cancer treatment to support your wellbeing at every stage, from diagnosis and active treatment through to recovery and survivorship.

- The Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND)
- The Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians (OncANP)
Educational Background: Dr. Beatty completed her undergraduate degree in pre-medical science at the University of Winnipeg before earning her naturopathic medical degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), Boucher Campus, graduating in 2011. Her advanced clinical training is directly relevant to integrative cancer care and includes Intravenous Therapy, Ozone Therapy, and Loco-Regional Hyperthermic Therapy. She is also certified to provide Intravenous Chelation Therapy, Central Venous Access, and Neural Prolotherapy.
Philosophy of Care: “The symptom you are experiencing is your body’s way of communicating that there is an imbalance. My job is to help navigate the root of that imbalance and help your body achieve wellness.”
Integrative Oncology at Via Natural Medicine: Integrative oncology combines evidence-informed natural medicine with conventional cancer care. Dr. Beatty’s role is supportive and complementary. She does not replace the care of your medical oncologist or surgical team. She works alongside it. Her focus is on supporting your strength, comfort, and quality of life during conventional treatment, and on helping you feel as well as possible through recovery.
A central part of her practice is safety. She reviews potential interactions between natural products and your conventional treatment, so that any supportive therapies you use are appropriate and do not interfere with your medical care.
A Personalized, Test-Informed Approach: Dr. Beatty tailors supportive care to the individual rather than applying a single protocol. Where appropriate, she uses advanced testing to personalize her recommendations, including individualized blood work, circulating tumour cell DNA testing, and genetic chemosensitivity assessment through DATAR Labs. This test-informed approach lets supportive care be matched to each patient’s specific situation.
Supportive Therapies: Working alongside conventional treatment, Dr. Beatty offers a range of supportive therapies, including but not limited to:
- Personalized dietary and nutritional strategies
- Counselling on drug, nutrient, and herbal interactions
- Intravenous therapies, including but not limited to high-dose vitamin C, artesunate, nutritional repletion, and ozone (Major autohemotherapy)

An advocate for living in harmony with nature, she enjoys gardening, crafting natural soaps, and spending time outdoors.
